What will my membership fee be used for?
- Your membership dues are used primarily for the newsletter,
printing costs and postage, you will receive a total
of 12 newsletters.
- We use our reserve treasury to secure motel & charter deposits
for our trips.
- We donate annually to DAN.
- We are active members of the Ohio Council and host the November
meeting.
- We maintain safety equipment and an oxygen unit.
- We pay expenses plus a modest honorarium to guest speakers.
- We maintain a free video lending library.
How much is an annual membership?
- Individual Membership $20.00 Cash/Check or $21.00 Paypal
- Family Membership $25.00 Cash/Check or $26.00 Paypal
How far away can I live, can anyone join?
- Most members are from the Northern Ohio area.
- Membership is open to anyone.
How much involvement can I expect in the dive club?
- Your involvement is up to you, however the following is just a
sample of what's going on
- Serving on one of many committees (Shipwrecks & Scuba Banquet,
Organize Local Dives, Organize a Trip, Membership committee, Present
a Program)
- Serving as one of the officers or trustees
- Attending monthly dive meetings with programs and speakers
- Attending local dive trips
- Attending our few major dive trips
I am convinced, how do I join?
- Attend the next monthly meeting, held the last Thursday of the
month.
- Print out and complete our membership application
form
- Membership fee and form can be brought to the meeting, or can be sent to
Bay Area Divers

- Dues can be paid online by using our Paypal link! There is
a $1.00 fee added to memberships bought online. This helps to
cover our Paypal fee.
