Bob Vincent is sponsoring a dive trip to the Straits of Mackinac using Larry McElroy Straits Scuba Center at St. Ignace, Michigan (www.straitsscuba.com). Plans are to dive Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday morning (three 2-tank dives). Last year’s cost was around $100 for a 2-tank dive. All dives will be in recreational limits. Plenty of accommodation in St. Ignace. I will be staying at the Driftwood Motel/Restaurant/Sport Bar (800-438-0493) which is directly across the street from the dive boat and dive shop.
